"It's a joy for me to explore the amazing possibilities in the land of handmade glass beads; the play of the colours, patterns, decorations and last but not least the inner glow of the bead, when you get it just right. My pandora style glass beads, like my pandora charms, are all known for their intricate detail, whether being fun animals, flower or fantasy designs beads. Each time I begin a new design it's like starting a new adventure; if I can share the feeling with you, I have succeeded.
My aim is to present a huge selection of beads in a variety of colours and designs, so you can easily make your own bracelet or necklace with your favourite colours. The beauty being that you can use your charms from previous years, combine them with the new designs, thus becoming the designer of your own jewellery.
The pandora sterling silver and glass bead charms are the main collection; created from an array of colours like rose, violet, azure, lime, cream, caramel, cherry… beads in all colours and shades and in lots of combinations. To complimemt the glass bead charms, for the creation of a unique and individual piece of jewellery, I have silver charms with and without zircons, enamel silver charms, and freshwater beads."
Matebeads
The concept of the matebeads Jewellery collection is that you create your very own design by choosing the charms for your bracelet or necklace. Start off with a few charms and then add more later. With more than 1,000 different charms in the collection it may be difficult to decide where to start.
Here is some advice which I hope might help you.
Start by deciding on your favourite colour – then select a design within your chosen colour. Try to visualise how you want your finished bracelet or necklace to look and then start collecting charms at your own pace.
For example, a red bracelet would benefit from having silver charms set with red zircons amongst the red glass beads. However, if you think you are likely to create bracelets in more than one colour silver charms set with white zircons would be better as they will work with multiple colour combinations.
Please note: Standard range glass beads are handmade in both large and small sizes. Large glass beads are roughly 16mm and the small approximately 12mm in diameter.
